Next Beef Release: November 2025

Our cattle are born and raised on Willarah Farm using regenerative farming practices that support soil health, pasture diversity and animal wellbeing. We typically process them between 18 and 24 months of age, an ideal window for quality and consistency. As a small-scale operation, we only offer beef when conditions on-farm are optimal. Our beef releases reflects the seasonal rhythm of our grazing system and our commitment to producing local, sustainable beef with integrity.

Two Willarah Farm Steaks

Small Pack
(min. 18kg)

From $450

$25 per kg (Packaged Weight)

The perfect introduction to our beef, this pack is designed for those with smaller freezers or anyone trying bulk ordering for the first time.

The Small Pack includes a minimum of 18kg of packaged beef (anywhere up to 23kg isn’t unusual). Based on a standard 250g serving size, 18kg equates to around 70 individual servings. When frozen, the beef will keep for up to 8 months.

All beef is provided fresh (not frozen) and professionally shrink-wrapped by Murphy’s Meats in Trafalgar.

Cuts Included:

  • Eye Fillet – Steaks (approx. 2)
  • Scotch Fillet – Steaks (approx. 2)
  • Porterhouse – Steaks (approx. 3)
  • Rump – Steaks (approx. 4)
  • Topside – Roast or BBQ steaks
  • Round – Schnitzels (uncrumbed), BBQ steaks or stir-fry
  • Oyster Blade – Roast or steaks
  • Bolar Blade – Roast or BBQ steaks
  • Skirt – Diced, mince or steaks
  • Chuck – Diced or mince
  • Shin – Osso Bucco, mince or gravy beef
  • Silverside – Roast or pickled
  • Brisket – Flat (ideal for smoking), rolled (roast), or extra mince
  • Beef Ribs – Rack of 2 ribs
  • Remaining Trim – Mince, plain sausages, or flavoured sausages
    (Yields approx. 3.5–4 kg mince and 8–10 packs of sausages)
  • Dog Bones – Available in a range of sizes (small to large)

When you place your order via our website, a $100 deposit is required to secure your pack.

As we approach the anticipated delivery date, we’ll keep you updated with information about collection and delivery options. Because final pack weights can only be confirmed once the beef has been processed and packaged, your final invoice will be issued approximately 48 hours before your order is ready.

Full payment is required prior to collection or delivery. This ensures a smooth handover and allows us to continue offering a reliable, small-scale service.

Three Willarah Farm Steaks

Medium Pack
(min. 36kg)

Ideal for households with moderate freezer space or those who enjoy having a consistent supply of quality beef on hand.

The Medium Pack includes a minimum of 36kg of packaged beef (anywhere up to 46kg isn’t unusual). Based on a standard 250g serving size, 36kg equates to around 140 individual servings. When stored frozen, the beef will keep for up to 8 months.

All beef is provided fresh (not frozen) and professionally shrink-wrapped by Murphy’s Meats in Trafalgar.

The Large Pack includes a minimum of 72kg of packaged beef (anywhere up to 92kg isn’t unusual). Based on a standard 250g serving size, 72kg equates to around 280 individual servings. When stored frozen, the beef will keep for up to 8 months.

Collection

You can collect your order directly from Murphy’s Meats (Shop 4, 3 Contingent Street, Trafalgar), during their business hours (which will be communicated via email).

Delivery

We offer free delivery within a 30km radius of Trafalgar. For addresses beyond this range, delivery costs will be calculated based on distance.

FAQ's

Answering your questions

We produce premium beef from a herd of Speckle Park cattle, pasture-raised at Willarah Farm. All of our cattle are grain-free and raised without hormonal growth promotants (HGPs).

Cattle are sent for processing when they reach prime condition. We generally release two orders per year: one in autumn and one in spring. Customers with pre-orders receive regular updates, including a confirmed collection or delivery date closer to the time.

Processing is completed at Radfords Abattoir in Warragul. Final preparation and packaging (vacuum sealing and boxing), are handled by Murphy’s Meats in Trafalgar.

  1. Choose your pack – Browse our available beef packs and place an order via our website with a $100 deposit.
  2. Confirmation & updates – You’ll receive an email confirming your order, along with an estimated timeline and updates.
  3. Processing & finalisation – We’ll confirm the collection or delivery date as processing approaches.
  4. Final invoice – Once the carcass is weighed and packaged, your final invoice will be issued (usually 48 hours before collection).
  5. Payment – Final payment is required prior to collection or delivery.

Yes. After your order is secured, we’ll send a form so you can choose your preferred cuts. For any special requests outside the standard options, we can coordinate with the butcher (please note that extra charges may apply).

Orders can be collected from Murphy’s Meats, Shop 4, 3 Contingent Street, Trafalgar, during business hours. Visit their Facebook page for current opening times.

We offer free delivery within 30 km of Trafalgar. Delivery beyond this range is available at an additional cost based on distance.

  • Small pack: Fits in approximately 1 box (10.5cm H × 36.0cm W × 50.0cm D)
  • Medium pack: 2–3 boxes of the above size
  • Large pack: 5–6 boxes of the above size

Note: Actual box count may vary depending on your cut selections and how the butcher packs your order.

According to PrimeSafe, frozen beef can be safely stored for up to 8 months at -12°C.

We understand that circumstances can change.

  • If the steer has not yet been processed, your deposit is refundable.
  • If the steer has been processed, the deposit becomes non-refundable if you choose not to proceed with your order.
