Willarah Farm Beef (May 2025 release)


Will and Sarah are excited to release their next offering of home-grown, grass-fed beef for collection in May 2025.

These steers have been raised on farm from birth, at the time of processing they will be between 18 and 24 months old. Because we are operating on a small scale, we have the ability to offer our beef when the timing is just right (the ‘goldilocks zone’). These steers will have had the sun on their backs and will be finished on the lush grass that South Gippsland is renowned for!

Our 1/8th pack

  • All meat is provided fresh (ie. not frozen) and professionally shrink-wrapped by Murphy’s meats in Trafalgar

    Cuts included:

    • Eye Fillet: Available as steaks (approximately 2 steaks)

    • Scotch Fillet: Available as bone-on ribeye or scotch fillet steaks (approximately 2 steaks)

    • Porterhouse: Available as steaks (approximately 3 steaks)

    • T-Bone: This option will remove the ability to receive porterhouse and eye fillets as they are from the same part of the animal. (2 steaks)

    • Rump: Available as steaks (approximately 3 steaks)

    • Topside: Available as a roast or BBQ steaks.

    • Round: Available as schnitzels (no crumb), BBQ steaks or stir fry.

    • Oyster Blade: Available as a roast or steaks.

    • Bolar Blade: Available as a roast or BBQ steaks.

    • Skirt: Available as diced, mince or steaks.

    • Chuck: Available as diced or mince

    • Shin: Available as Osso Bucco, mince or gravy beef.

    • Silverside: Available as a roast or pickled.

    • Brisket: Available as flat (for smoking), rolled (roast) or extra mince.

    • Beef Ribs: Available as a rack of 2 ribs

    • Remaining Trim: Available as mince, flavoured sausages or plain sausages. (9 -10 packs of sausages and 3.5-4kg's mince)

    • Dog bones: Available from small to large sizes.

  • The perfect introductory pack, this option is great for those with limited freezer space or ordering meat in bulk for the first time.

    The ‘Small Freezer Pack’ works out to be approximately 20kg’s of packaged beef. Based on a standard serving size of 250 grams, this amount of meat could provide 88 individual servings. When frozen, beef has an anticipated shelf life of 8 months (learn more).
